Adam Ashton will be a guest speaker at our next Breakfast Meeting. Ashton covers state government for The Sacramento Bee, anchoring the newspaper’s popular state worker coverage. He joined the newspaper in 2016 after covering the military and local government at its sister newspapers, The News Tribune of Tacoma, The Modesto Bee and the Merced Sun-Star. Ashton has re- ported on the U.S. military in Afghanistan, Iraq and in Japan on special assignments for The Bee’s parent company, McClatchy. He earned regional and national recognition for his coverage of war crimes com- mitted by U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. Ashton lives in Sacramento with his wife, KVIE producer Christina Salerno and their toddler son.
Doors open at 7:30am. A plated breakfast will be served at 8am.
Cost is $10 if payment is recieved 1 week prior to the event. $10 Late fee.
