Associate Management Auditor (DHCS) - FFD 10/24

IA provides risk-based, independent, and objective assurance and consulting services designed to enhance and improve the DHCS operations and uphold organizational value. These services assist DHCS management accomplish its objectives by assessing and monitoring DHCS in the discharge of its oversight, management and operating responsibilities. IA provides a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of DHCS’ risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. Under the direction of the Health Program Audit Manager, the Associate Management Auditor is expected to independently perform or act as a team leader developing audit programs and performing critical, complex, and sensitive internal audits of all DHCS divisions and programs.

Auditor l/ll (County of Yolo)

The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) full-time, limited-term position in the class of Auditor I/II.  This position exist with the County's Internal Audit Division located within the Department of Financial Services. This limited term assignment is scheduled to terminate after two (2) years from the date of hire.  The level of which a candidate is placed is dependent on their background and experience.

To assist and support the County of Yolo and the Departments to become the "poster" organization for the local government in the State of California regarding fiscal soundness of accountability, integrity, and transparency as a government entity by providing excellent customer service, internally to county staff, and externally while partnering with other public and private entities.


To accomplish the role of supporting the County and the Department, the Division's audit staff will help to provide reasonable assurances of accountability by maintaining independence as part of the County's oversight authority, and by conducting countywide risk assessments, various types of audits and compliance reviews, special request reviews of emerging issues, and various types of consulting services such as workshops on efficiencies around processes, internal controls, and analysis of operations or functions.
