This training will provide an overview of the peer review process and highlight recent updates to auditing standards for both the Yellow Book (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and Red Book (Global Internal Audit Standards). Strengthen your knowledge of auditing standards while making connections with other state auditors in this free, in-person training.

  • By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

    1. Describe the key components of the peer review process and its role in maintaining audit quality and compliance.

    2. Identify recent updates to the Yellow Book (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards) and understand their implications for government audit work.
